Gregg Popovich:

Popovich has surpassed Hall of Fame coach Don Nelson in terms of regular-season victories by a coach  in NBA history.

Recently, San Antonio’s 104-102 win over the Utah Jazz. He now has 1,336 regular-season wins, the most all-time.

Popovich, 73, has coached the Spurs for his entire 26-year basketball coaching career and he has won five NBA championships.

Gregg is coaching the Spurs since 1996, making him the longest-tenured NBA coach. His first 22 full seasons were all won, and he has a career win percentage of.658.

Gregg Popovich is a three-time NBA Coach of the Year and coached in the NBA All-Star Game four times.

Outside of the NBA, he coached the U.S. men’s national team to a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
