Associate Judge Linn is a member of the court. A courtroom is located at 26th and California. He is elected, but not by the people.

Who is Judge James Linn?

American actor  and singer  Jussie Smollett.  He began his  career as a  child actor in 1991, acting in films  such as North.

Actor Jussie Smollett, who is Black, reported to police that two men wearing ski masks beat him and then fled.

He was convicted in December after two brothers testified Smollett gave them money for the ski masks and rope they used in the attack, as well as money for the attack itself.

Linn said to Jussie Smollett, You destroyed and damage your life as you know it. There is nothing I can do to you.

During his sentencing, Smollett could make a statement, but chose not to on the advice of counsel, citing a potential appeal in the case.

But just after Linn read the sentence, Smollett addressed the court and once again denied wrongdoing in the case.
