The Lollapalooza music festival has announced its lineup for summer 2022 in Grant Park, between the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. The festival will run from 28th July to 31st July.

It includes Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Green Day, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby, and Kygo. Chicago's lakefront park will host over 170 performances on eight stages.

Also included is food from 35 chefs and restaurants, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Moreover, Kidzapalooza will return this summer for children under the age of 10.

A four-day general admission ticket to the Lollapalooza music festival costs $350, plus taxes and fees, on the official website.

In the four-day Lollapalooza festival, dozens of hip-hop, techno, and alternative rock artists perform.

American Festival

Lollapalooza was begun in 1991 by Perry Farrell as a multi-city venue for his band’s farewell tour. Farrell claimed he chose the festival’s name—an archaic word meaning “extraordinarily ”.
