March 20, is the 2022 NYC Half Marathon, which means city streets will be flooded with runners as drivers look for alternate routes.

After a 2-year hiatus, the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon is back with around 25,000 runners expected to run.

The course stretches from Brooklyn to Manhattan. The race will begin at 7 A.M. sharp in Prospect Park in Brooklyn and proceed to Central Park.

Passing through Times Square along the way; this is the only city event other than New Year's Eve that closes the street to traffic.

The top finisher in the overall men's, women's, and non-binary divisions will be awarded on site. Top-three finishers in each age group will receive an award.

NYRR membership is not required. Prize money amounts are equal for men and women. 1st: $20,000 2nd: $10,000 3rd: $5,500
