Foxborough is the new home of quarterback Mac Jones' tutor for the New England Patriots.
Backup quarterback Brian Hoyer has signed a two-year contract with the Patriots, his agent announced.
In his 14-year NFL career, the 36-year-old is essentially a player-coach. Last season, Hoyer backed up Jones, appearing in five games and attempting 11 passes.
Hoyer has been a priority for the Pats to ensure Jones has a veteran presence who can help him in the film room.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the Patriots have also re-signed offensive lineman James Ferentz.
