Rap star YoungBoy has come up on the winning end of his felony gun case in Los Angeles, as he was found not guilty.

NBA Youngboy was in great spirits following the verdict, which was delivered on Friday (July 15), he said, “I feel great.”

The case stemmed from YoungBoy’s March 2021 arrest in Los Angeles, during which authorities recovered a pistol from his vehicle.

Initial reports claimed the rapper’s vehicle (Mercedes-Benz) was traveling at 80-90 mph prior to his arrest.

Prosecutors alleged that after driving away from police, the rapper abandoned the vehicle and ran. but he was found hiding in a stranger's backyard.

Because of a prior felony conviction, Gaulden (Youngboy) was prohibited from possessing the weapon. As a result he was arrested.

The popular and prolific rapper NBA Youngboy was facing the possibility of years in prison if convicted in this case.

However, a number of factors proved to be in YoungBoy’s favour. In addition to insufficient DNA or fingerprint.
