Famous soap opera actress Robyn Griggs has died on August 13, 2022, she was only 49, as her family say she's 'no longer suffering'.

TV and film star Robyn Griggs, best known for her roles in Another World and One Life to Live, was diagnosed with cancer in 2020.

Robyn told fans last month that she had developed four new tumours during an update on her health struggles.

The Pennsylvania native was known for her role as Maggie Cory in “Another World” but she was also famous for her roles in horror movies like “Zombiegeddon“.

Griggs posted to her social media July 7. So in pain and I go to chemo. I told them whatever it takes, I’m in for the fight.”

Fans and friends flocked to the post to pay tribute, with one writing: "Oh Robyn, you were a shining light and we love you dearly.

Robyn Griggs was born on April 30, 1973, began her career as a child actor when she played the role of Molly in Annie.

Robyn Griggs was 1.65 m tall, was married in 2013 to Mark Wiley, a professional golfer, and had three children.
