Despite two years of temperate St. Patrick's Day celebrations, everyone will be a little Irish again this March 17.

Over 2 million spectators are expected to attend the annual Fifth Avenue parade in New York City.

Every year, up to 30,000 people line Bridge Street for the St. Patrick's Day Parade, a tradition since 2004.

Additionally, San Antonio holds its own river dying, scheduled for March 17 and 19, followed by a boat parade along the river.

San Antonio:

Tradition since 1962, the process uses 40 lbs of vegetable-based dye. Using a motorboat to dump dye and two to stir and spread it.

Chicago:

Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, in memory of the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
